Resize image to KB
Photo, signature or document at the exact size a portal asks for (20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB…).
Fit photos, signatures and scanned documents to the KB and pixel size a portal requires, saved as JPG.
How to use it
- Choose one or more images.
- Set the maximum size (e.g. 50 KB) and, if the portal asks, the maximum width/height.
- Download the images; the final size is in the file name.
When it helps
- Photo for job, scholarship or university applications with a 20–100 KB limit.
- Scanned signature for an online form.
Limitations
- Very large images may not fit very small limits without fewer pixels; choose a smaller width then.
- PNG transparency becomes white, as JPG doesn't support it.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between KB and pixels?
KB is the file weight; pixels are the dimensions. Many portals ask for both, for example 600×600 px and up to 100 KB.
